About Us

510 Brewing Company is a craft brewery based out of Fremont, CA. We are currently in the planning and market research phases. By market research, we mean drinking beer. The concept of the brewery was brought upon from when Travis and Dean were filming a craft beer video podcast called Suds or Duds TV. The thirst for knowing what the hell we were drinking led us to start making our own beer at home. Years later we are still making beer at home, however now we are using more complex techniques then adding hops and syrup to boiling water.

Travis Smith

Business Guy and Master Brewer
Travis has worked for a variety of startup companies in the Silicon Valley. Some of these worked out, some failed miserably. We’re hoping this one is one of them that works out. Travis has also been working at Jack’s Brewing Company, trying to to learn the mistakes of the trade on their dime and not ours. Travis is a second generation alcohol maker. His dad is an award winning wine maker from Washington state.

Dean Hoffman

Quality Control and Brewer
Dean is our resident outgoing guy. Not only is he a co-founder, he’s a customer. One of our best at that, being as 90% of our beer is consumed at his house. It was he that invited us to his house to start the original 510 Brewing operations, where it lasted for over a year. Which is why so much beer is downed in his presence.

Xon Cisneros

Graphics Master and Brewer
Xon (pronounced ZON) has the special ability to make photoshop do whatever he tells it to. Well, it’s special to us because the final product always looks great, opposed to the proud stick figures Travis can make. His history is in IT, and has even built a website for Pedro Feliz.
