Startup Breweries
The great thing about the internet is the wealth of knowledge one can find on any subject. Most compelling to us is the knowledge we can find in regards to launching our brewery one day. These days, breweries seem to be popping up all over the place. I am putting together a list of the guys and gals who I have been interacting with who are going down the same path as 510.

Brian is working on starting up a nano-brewery on the east coast. He’s been a great resource to bounce ideas off of, since we are both about on the same step in the process.

Full Steam

These guys are working on building out their brewery with the plans to open in the spring of 2010. They also just announced the hiring of Brooks Hamaker, ex-Head Brewer for Abita Brewing Co. No doubt they will be just as popular in a few years.

Hess Brewing

The guys over at Hess are actually building out their location, which means we’ll be trying their beer soon. They have definitely plowed through a lot of the legal issues that a lot of us face ahead.

PJ is going through the process of starting up Mad Haven brewing. His blog not only outlines what he’s going through to open, but a lot of usefull information about what’s going on in the brewery world.
Monday Night Brewery

Based out of Atlanta, GA they are rock stars, at least in my mind. If you are in the area, try to track them down on a Monday night….that is if they decide to ever brew on Mondays!

olllllo

No official website for his brewery yet, but we do know it will be based out of Pheonix. He knows a shit load about beer and is a go to resource for all things brewing.
Tim & Steph Weber
twitter.com/timweber
twitter.com/stephweber
No webpage for their brewery yet, however these guys brew more often then the rest of us combined. They have plans to open their brewpub in the next 5 years in NC.
Tommy Werner

I actually don’t know much about Tommy except that he is a recent college grad and is attending brewing school. Tommy, chime in and let us know what your deal is!
I know there are probably others out there as well. If you are starting up a brewery, email me the info and I’ll add you into the list.
